Training Course Topic: Bomb Threat Safety

Training Course Description: Overview of this course is designed to educate participants
on how to recognize, respond to, and manage bomb threats safely and effectively. It
emphasizes awareness, preparedness, and calm decision-making to protect lives and
minimize disruption during a potential threat

Course Objective: Understand what constitutes a bomb threat and common ways such
threats are received, recognize suspicious objects, mail, or behaviours that may indicate a
threat, respond appropriately and calmly if a bomb threat is received or suspected, follow
organizational bomb threat and evacuation procedures, communicate effectively with
emergency response personnel.

Target Audience: all employees, management, and contractors, front-line staff such as
receptionists, security personnel, and telephone operators, safety, and emergency
response team members.
