Training Course Topic: Confined Space Safety

Training Course Description: Overview of This course provides participants with the
knowledge and skills necessary to work safely in and around confined spaces. It covers
the identification of confined spaces, associated hazards, entry requirements, and control
measures needed to prevent accidents, injuries, and fatalities.

Course Objective: To increase awareness of confined space hazards, and to expose workers
to hazard control measures including corporate confined space safety procedures, and
international best practices.

Target Audience: workers authorized to perform permit-required confined space entry, or
to oversee confined space entry

Requirements for Participation: no requirements

Duration: 3 hours
