Training Course Description: Overview of this practical training program equips
participants with hands-on skills and knowledge required for safe work in confined
spaces. The course focuses on hazard identification, risk assessment, use of personal
protective equipment (PPE), atmospheric testing, ventilation, and emergency response.
Course Objective: For participants to recognize and evaluate confined space hazards,
including atmospheric and physical risks, perform safe entry and exit procedures using
proper permits and protocols, use gas detection equipment, ventilation systems, and PPE
effectively, apply practical skills for confined space work through simulations and
exercises, respond appropriately to confined space emergencies and participate in rescue
procedures, ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations and
organizational policies related to confined space operations.
