Training Course Topic: Earthquake Awareness
Training Course Description: Overview of this training equips participants with essential
knowledge and practical strategies to prepare for, respond to, and recover from
earthquakes. It focuses on understanding earthquake risks, recognizing early warning
signs, and implementing safety measures to protect lives and property.
Course Objective: Understand the causes, characteristics, and risks associated with
earthquakes, identify hazards and vulnerabilities in the workplace and at home,
implement personal and organizational preparedness measures, respond safely during an
earthquake, including drop, cover, and hold techniques, participate effectively in
evacuation and emergency drills, contribute to post-earthquake recovery and safety
procedures.
Target Audience: all employees, contractors, and management personnel, safety and
emergency response teams, Facility managers, and supervisors responsible for workplace
safety.
